IMMERSIVE AND INTERACTIVE DESIGN

Experimental Dj Controller for Inkara

Vesper is an interactive audiovisual interface built in collaboration with London artist Inkara. It features four sculptural forms
embedded with distance and sound sensors that react to her gestures, voice, and audience input in real time.
Each sculpture represents a chakra, tied to emotional themes in her music like heartbreak, vulnerability, and healing.

As she performs, Vesper lights up, modulates vocals, and triggers sound layers through movement—
like doing reiki on herself through sound. One sculpture even responds to audience cheering, completing a loop of shared energy.

Rejecting screen-based visuals, the piece explores how physical computing and symbolic form can foster deeper
performer-audience connection. Influences include liquid light shows, reiki, and Mi.Mu wearable tech.

Made with: 3D printing, acrylic, laser cutting, Arduino (C++), Max MSP, Ableton Live.
